An overall trend, the highest proportion of foreign language for British students who speak it was the Spanish language in 2000. whilst the lowest percentage of foreign language for British students who speak it was German language and two other languages in 2000.
the first highest percentage for spoken foreign languages between British students was the Spanish language (30%) in 2000, which was less than the percentage in 2010 (35%). the second highest proportion was for other languages (20%), which was a half percentage in 2010 (10%). for French languages, the percentage was (15%), (10%) in 2000 and 2010 respectively.
In addition, the British students who spoke German language only were (10%) in 2000 and 2010. Finally, the percentage of British students who talk another language (15%) in 2000, which was a little less than the percentage in 2010 (20%)
