The bar graph illustrates information about the number of Chinese vehicle owners between 1987 and 1999.
Overall, the most amount of vehicles was observed in 1999, whereas the least point was in 1987.
Approximately 300 thousand people used private cars in 1999 and there was a steady increase and 1 million people were till 1993. The reason for this result was likely to be that having a car was expensive in that time, also there were preferred for society more common activity such as walking and cycling.
However, in 1995 there was a drastic rise which equal to 3 million people who used their own cars, by following this after two years it was increased to 1 million and reached to about 4.2 million owners by 1999. This reflect the fact that people purchased more automobile due to the long-distance of workplace or having journey with close relatives during vacation periods.
