The provided line chart illustrates the total payment of five various items, in percentage term, in a European nation between 1960 and 2000.
As can be seen from the line graph, the expense on clothing was the least expense. With regard to clothing, starting at about 5% in 1960, the percentage went down approximately 3% in 1980 and then the trend was remained stable over the next twenty years. In 2000, there was a slight growth to around 1%.
When it comes to food, beginning at about 34% in 1960, the proportion of transport payments declined suddenly and then the trend was progressive decline to more than 5% in 2000.
With respect to leisure and transport, with a starting point of 10% in 1960, the leisure trend rose faster than the transport trend almost 5% over the next four decades. By contrast, the rate of fuel slowly went down from 2% in 2000.
