Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to you with regards to the employment posting which you have posted in Todays Times newspaper dated November 23rd, for the position of clerk in accounts department.
I am 30 year old, second year student of arts and doing my project based on architectural and antique monuments, which need to be submitted in the final year.
I had earlier work in Prestigious museum for one year before getting into tertiary education. There I was looking into all clerical works. So after reading your advertisement I was really keen to apply for this vacancy as it is suiting my field as well as interest. I will be delighted if you could consider me for this position.
As I am having holidays for one month starting from next week, that is December 1st, I will be available to join from the date. It will be great experience to work for this museum, as I will gain immense knowledge and the experience gain would be inevitable. It finds me really impressive as I can gain work experience and the salary which would I get can be helpful for me. As I will not have to do part-time job for my basic needs and can concentrate more on my studies.
Awaiting your positive response.
Yours faithfully,
Sandra Brown.
