1. You have a full-time job and are also doing a part-time evening course. You now find that you cannot continue the course. Write a letter to the course tutor. In your letter
• describe the situation
• explain why you cannot continue at this time
• say what action you would like to take
Hi Alex,
I am very sorry to inform you that I can no longer participate in your evening course because of the time conflict with my full-time job.
As you probably have known, I am an auditor and this month is the peak of the audit season in which work deadlines keep me staying late at the office. Recently, I had been absent from your classes because it was impossible for me to work and study in two different places at the same time.
Ideally, I would like to postpone the course to October. Until then, I will be available in the evening to join your course. If this is permitted, please inform me of the necessary procedure I need to do in order to transfer my course to a future one.
Additionally, please let me know of any classes that will be offered in the fourth quarter of 2018 so I can register and resume my learning.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Mai
