You are supposed to move into a new apartment next week but you cannot do so because of some problems. Write a letter to the landlored
. Explain your situation
. describe your problems
. tell him/her when you think you can move in
Dear Mr. Smith
I am your new tenant and supposed to shift in your new flat which is situated in the city centre near the Oxford university, next week. But, sorry to say, due to some circumstances, I will not be able to move into the apartment on coming Monday. In this letter, I am explaining my condition and when would I expect to shift in the flat.
I went to home before moving into the apartment and had to come back before Monday because I had to do a lot of packing and to shift the luggage to the new house. Suddenly, my mother's health got serious. We have to hospitalised her. So, in this situation, I would not be back before Monday. Being elder of all the siblings, it is my responsibility to take care of my mother. As soon as she will get discharge from the hospital, I will be back to Mumbai and do the shifting.
Hope that you would understand my condition and you should not worry about the rent. I will pay for entire month. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely
Flora Fernandas
