A glance at the graph provided reveals the amount of fast food in the UK during the period from 1970 to 1990. It is evident that Fish and chips and hamburger saw a considerable increase in consumption, while pizza showed slightly fluctuation over the years.
Increasing to somewhere under 100g for both fish and chips them climbed to 150g per week. This was followed by a period of exponential growth, with expenditure reaching a peak of 500g in 1990. And hamburger spending also brought a dramatical surge approximately 300g each week in the same year.
The spending of eating pizza dominated at the beginning about 300g before dropping sharply to 200g in 1985. The following 5 years saw a minimal rise nearly 200g.
