The graph below shows the amounts of waste produced by three companies over a period of 15 years.
The line graph illustrates the quantity of waste created by Company A, Company B and Company C during the period between 2000 and 2015. It can be seen that, generally, Company A and B showed a downward trend in waste while the quantity of waste made by Company C continued rising throughout the period.
The waste crated by Company A decreased slightly from 12 tonnes in 2000 to 8 tonnes in 2015. On the contrary, both Company B and C sustained a growing quantity of waste until 2005. Company B created approximately 10 tonnes in 2005 then significantly declined year by year, reaching a lowest level of 3 tonnes in 2015. The quantity made by Company C continued climbed and peaked 12 tonnes in 2015. During 15 years, the waste made by company C jumped to the largest quantity. While the Company A and B showed a trend of the waste reduction, Company C displayed a stable growth and hit the highest level. Finally, the waste made by Company C is almost equal to the amount of Company A and B.
It’s interesting to note that Company A, B and C experienced three different trends of the amount of waste. It’s possible to speculate all the companies will continued to figure out how to reduce more waste, due to the waste reduction is one of the important environmental protection index.
