Furthermore, the greatest increase among the mentioned sectors was observed in terms of the amount of energy used in industrial section (26.6 %) followed by production and other purposes accounting for 23.3 % and 20 % respectively.
Referring to the table it can be pinpointed that, compared to Australia, in Japan the figures for industrial and production purposes were less, only 15 % and in the USA 18% and 20 % accordingly. Additionally, in both Japan and the USA the major use of energy was in other sectors which showed growth by 20 % and 25 % since 1990 and the considerable change in the USA was described in industrial area.
