It can be seen from the table that all family types occupied the most percentage on single parent. By contrast, aged couple was the category receiving the least expenditure.
In 1999, the rate of one-parent was highest, at 21%, while the figure for people who live alone and did not have children was significant lower, at 19%. Old people lived in poverty accounted for 6%. Meanwhile, a mere number of 7% was couples who had no children.
The proportion of old couple was lowest in all household types, at only 4%. By contrast, the percentage of all households and couples lived with children were approximately, at 11% and 12% respectively.
