Looking at the table, it is immediately obvious that US, China and Russia won the largest number of total medals including gold, silver and bronze, while Hungary, Italy and South Korea had the opposite quantity in total.
A closer look at data reveals that in terms of gold medals, US was the nation with the highest number of about 46, followed by China with the figure of 38. Great Britain registered the third greatest number, at 29. Similarly, US and China were the top two countries winning the largest figures of Silver medals (29 and 27 respectively), but the third in this term was Russia. However, according to the report of bronze ones, Russia won the highest number of 32, which was 3 and 9 higher than that of US and China in turn.
As can be seen from the table, the numbers of gold medals won by Italy, Hungary and Australia were the lowest , each of them was under 9. On the other hand, the fewest quantities of silver medals were registered by Italy, Hungary and South Korea, which was similar to the record of bronze medals.
