You recently bought a piece of equipment for you kitchen but it did not work. You phoned the shop but no action was taken.
Write a letter to the shop manager. In your letter:
1- Describe the problem with the equipment.
2- Explain what happened when you phoned the shop.
3- Say what you would like the manager to do.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to report a faulty appliance for my kitchen which I bought from your shop where in the city center last week.
The item is an electric blender which is made by a reputable manufacturer. When I decided to buy a new blender for my wife, I could not have better offers from other shops. The device was brand new, but it does not work properly. My wife switched it on, but the speed button stuck and did not return to its original position.
I have called your shop on several occasions to report the problem with the blender. Customer service office have taken all details about the fault, and they advised that a proper action will be taken by sending one representative of the maintenance department to my home to inspect the blender; however, no one either called me or came for inspection.
I have a warranty clause valid for one year on the blender, and it states that all faulty devices are covered. Therefore, I would request that you address this matter personally with the customer service department, and that you treat it in priority to replace the blender with a new item.
I look forward to the problem being solved.
Yours faithfully,
Ayoub
