The table below gives information about the underground railway systems in six cities
The diagram presents data on underground railway systems that include distance of route and the number traveler each year in six major cities.
It is clear that three oldest underground railway systems were larger than three newer systems. Moreover, the oldest systems almost always received more passengers than the other.
London had the largest system which was 394 kilometres of route. It also created the oldest system that opened in 1863. The second largest system is Paris with 199 kilometres of route, served 1191 passengers. However, it just under with the number passengers of Tokyo which is the highest 1927 million passengers per year.
Washington DC is the largest system with 126 kilometres of route between Kyoto and Los Angeles. It also served 144 travelers. The second newest system is Kyoto in 1981 that had the smallest with only 11 kilometres and served the lowest number of exactly 45 passengers every year.
