You were supposed to go on an interview in a few weeks, but you have since found out you cannot go on the date arranged. Write a letter to the potential employer. In your letter:
Tell them why you need to move the interview time.
Ask to change the interview date.
Explain that you are still interested in being interviewed for the job.
Dear Mr. Smith,
I am writing in regard to change the date of interview which has been arranged for me on 5th July. As you know I am working at a small company and I am in charge of manager for the new project. Because of some reasons we have to complete the project before meeting the deadline. On the interview date in your company, I have to represent the completed project to parents company. This representation will be crucial for me because it would have positive impacts on my CV.
If it is possible, please accept my request to alter the date of interview. I know you have arranged a lot of interviews already and it would be difficult to change for you. I can do the interview on 6th July or any date you will determine.
I want to mention that this opportunity is so significant for me because I will be unemployed after I submit my project. I need to have a new job promptly because I am an undergraduate student as well as I did not get the scholarship.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Kind Regards,
Sahar Sharifi
