You bought a music concert ticket. However, you are unable to go. So you offer the ticket to your friend.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter:
• Explain detailed the concert.
• Why you are unable to go
• How can your friend receive the ticket.
Dear Hung,
It’s your pal, Truong. I believe you still remember the classical music concert I told you last week. I had planned to participate in this event and bought a ticket 3 weeks ago. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to go to the concert because of an unexpected test the same day, which my tutor has just announced me. Therefore, I’m writing this letter to let you know that I wish to give you my ticket since I know you’re also excited about this event.
The show will be organized in the Central City Hall on July 1st. Although it will mostly play classical music, the ticket seller told me that there would be some modern songs performed by a band called ‘Zero 9’ due to a commercial contract between the producers and the band. However, I’m sure you will have a fantastic time.
Do give me a call if you decide to go. I’ll stop by you house and give you the ticker on this Friday after I finish my study. And don’t worry about paying me, it’s my gift to you since I missed your last birthday.
Hope to see you soon.
Your best friend,
Truong Nguyen
