The given diagram illustrates the process of electricity production by using a geothermal energy.
Overall, there are five steps in this process. A vessel of cold water, hot rocks, a condenser, a turbine, and a generator are the main components. Essentially, the cold water is channelled down, pumped up, and put inside a turbine before the electricity can emerge.
First of all, the cold water is sent underground through a narrow path with a depth of 4.5 km to the injection well. After that, the resulting water is passed through the hot rocks, which are part of the geothermal zone, into the production well. Subsequently, the hot water is pumped up to a channel which is as long as the former one yet is wider than that. Directly above the soil, a machine called condenser is ready to convert the water into a steam. Finally, the steam provides a power for the turbine to rotate, which in turn generates an electrical energy.
