The diagram below demonstrates geothermal power plant which use water to produce electricity. As it can be observed there are five stages for converting geothermal energy to electric energy.
Based on the picture, first of all, cold water pumped down to 4.5 kilometers below the earth surface where the injection well conduct it to geothermal zone. In the third stage, it enter the production well where hot water pumped up to the condenser which is located at the earth surface.
As it can be seen, through fourth stage, condenser convert hot water to steam which is simultaneously enter the turbine. It powers turbine which is power generator in a same way. Consequently, generator produced electricity.
