Your car is hired from a company and while you are driving on holiday, you have a small accident. You will have to write a report to the company to explain it.
In your letter:
• when and where you hired it
• describe how the accident happened
• what kind of action did you take after the accident
Dear Sir / Ma’am,
My name is Huma and I have hired a car Suzuki Hyundai Model 2010 from your company in Karachi couple of days ago. I am writing to inform you that a small accident has been occurred yesterday, August 02, 2018, which has not caused huge damage to the car.
The accident so happened as I was driving with an average speed through the road in Saddar, I came across a family who were waiting for a public transport. A child with them who would be probably less than 5 years old, was playing with a ball. With the wink of an eye, the ball fell towards the lane in which I was driving and the child rushed towards it. I went panic and moved the staring of the car right swiftly in order not to hit the child, but to my amazement, the car hit a pole.
The child’s parents were very thankful for the prompt response and I made sure the child is all well but I apologize for damaging the body of the car over the right front wheel. The parents are willing to cover up the expenses for the loss if the car is not insured.
I would request you to replace me the damaged car with a new one within few days. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully
Huma
