Whether parents are the best teacher or not depends on the parents themselves. In my opinion, a teacher should be a person that can provide good examples for their students, he should have positive personalities such as discipline, liable, diligent, and inspiring. On the other hand, not all of parents own the characters.

However, parents, no doubt, are in charge and responsible for their children. They are the first resources for their children to learn from. Children early times are very important in shaping their characters, and their parents play important roles in the process. During the periods, children strongly depend on their parents as the protector as well as teacher.

Parents' roles are also very needed during the puberty of their children. As the children grow up, socialize and know more new people and environment; which may be positive or negative, they need filters that are likely provided by their parents. Here, parents are required to be wise, they have to guide as well as understand their children. Two way communication should be used by parents when they talk or give advices to their children, so that children do not feel bridled or under pressure, because teenagers in common are very sensitive. We can see puberty as a period when children start to think that they are in charge on themselves, but in fact they still need guidance.

To conclude, parents can be the best teacher for their children if they able to show their children good examples and attitudes as well as deliver them in the right way.
