The bar chart illustrates the information of average telephone calls in minutes categorized by local, national and international fixed line and all calls of mobiles in UK between 1995 and 2002. Units are measured in billions.
Overall, it is clear from that local fixed line calls are significantly highest among other calls with some fluctuations. In comparison, national and international calls and all calls from mobiles have dramatically increasing over the given period.
Local fixed line calls are more than 70billion minutes in 1995. Then there were slight increase for the next four years and reached at the peak in 1999 with 90 billion minutes. Then, the account of local calls declined in the following years and reached almost same at the beginning years rate. Although, which is 10 billion minutes higher than national and international fixed calls.
In 1995, the account of national and international calls was about 37 billion minutes, which is went up systematically in the upcoming years. As is observed, the graph was about 50billion minutes in 1999 and surged to just above 60 billion minutes by the year of 2002. Moreover, mobile calls consist of approximately 2billion minutes in 1995 , and remained below 10 billion minutes up to the year of 1998. While, in 1999 the ratio escalated over 10 billion minutes and continuously grow up and finished with about 45 billion minutes in 2002.
