Some people believe that when busy parents do not have a lot of time to spend with their children, the best use of that time is to have fun playing games or sports. Other believe that it is best to use that time doing things together that are related to schoolwork, which of the two approaches do you prefer?
In my point of view this statement should be determined on the case by case basis. based on the children need and want. I totally admit that in our societies it is really hard for parent to balance their responsibility and I think they scapegoat themselves to their children comfort. By the way I think that they should have manage those little time by their children to help their needs and their need are really different some needs help on schoolwork and some need sport. I want to reinforce my opinion from the following aspects.
First, parents can easily understand their children need and manage their free time to help children. For example, both of my parents were work like a crazy at week day and we have a little free time to spend with each other. On those time, they asked my schoolwork and check them. After that they take a quiz from the important subjects and after then they theirs to solve my problems. my mother work with me and my dad would work with my sister because she is older than me and her lessons are harder. and if there was a time left, we go out and play with each other.
The latter reason why I generally think that they it should determine in case by case basis is that if children supposed to do any home work, they cannot enjoy at the play. i.e. I never can forget the time that I supposed to do soil model in little scale and since I know that if my parent knows that, we can't go to park. I didn't tell them. Besides, I couldn’t enjoy on my play on the park and tomorrow on the school I got problem all of my groupmates and we lots those project grade.
The last but not the least, I think that if parent receive to their children lessons regularly, children naturally have few problems on the next week. Therefore, they can go out. when I remember those days that we spend with our parent, we just study until the lunch on our lessons and after that as a reward we went out for lunch. this behavioral really encourage us to study and I learn from my parent that how use time although I have few times.
In a nutshell, it was hard for my parent to manage their time and actually they did not rest, but now they all the time says that they are pride of us and we really love them because we saw their hard working and try for us. Now I got my master and my sister studies on PhD which is not achievable if they don't manage their spare time to our needs. Therefore, based on the reasons I mentioned above I think that we can’t give one answer to this question and it should be determined on case by case children need basis.
