Dear Dave,
I am writing this letter t ask for few weeks off to complete my certification.
I have registered for CFA level one certification and I am already taking coaching for this. Since there are only three weeks left for the exam, my coaching centre is providing a full day session from now on for the exam preparation. Hence, I need a three weeks off my work in order to complete this session.
I will delegate all the pending assignments to my team members so that there is no hampering of wok. Once I join office later, I can have knowledge transfer session from my colleagues to get familiar with the new assignments. Also, I will set up a meeting with the client to understand the requirements, that will help me getting pace in work.
This CFA certification is to enhance my knowledge in the financial sector. Since I am working on the capital market domain, this certification will help in increasing my functional skills. It will not only improve my knowledge, but it will also be helpful for the company's growth.
I hope that you will understand my point and provide me the required time off.
Yours sincerely,
ABC
