Dear Sir,
I am writing to express my interest in learning the French language under your guidance and supervision. One of my office colleague, who is you ex-student have suggested your tutorship and explained to me your teaching methodologies. I am impressed with his eloquent speaking and understanding of a foreign language in a short period.
Let me explain to you that why I need to learn this language. My immigration application for Canada has been approved recently and I will be relocating in a couple of months. As I have heard that the French language is the second official mode of communication in Canada and it has become imperative for me to at least know the elementary level. Furthermore, learning this language will increase the prospects of getting a better job in a competitive environment of Canada and will be instrumental in a smooth settlement.
I would like to meet yourself to discuss the learning plan. Fortunately, I live nearby to your house and can pass-by at your convenient time.
Thanking you in anticipation
