You recently stayed at a hotel. While coming back from the hotel, you discovered that you have left an item of clothing there. Write a letter to the manager. In that letter:
- Describe the item.
- Specify where he can find it.
- What you like him to do.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing in hope of finding one of my belongings which I have left in your hotel before I checked out. I was staying in room 333 from last Monday till yesterday.
The item I am missing is a T-shirt. My shirt is blue except for the sleeves which are yellow. It is of Polo mark and you can find the famous Polo logo on the left shoulder painted in yellow. Also, there are two circular thin lines around the bottom of the shirt of a green color.
I have washed the shirt the last night before my leave and put it in the terrace to dry out. It was on a chair at the eastern corner of the terrace. That is where the sunlight comes into the place in the morning. I believe you will find the shirt there unless a member of the housekeeping team has removed it from the room.
I would be grateful for you if you could send the shirt to me. If so, please ship the shirt to my address in Riyadh. I have included details of my address within this letter. Otherwise, please keep it in a suitable place till I arrange for collection by a friend nearby there.
I am looking forward to your prompt response.
Yours faithfully,
Khaled Ibrahim.
