The line chart illustrates the variation in waste amounts which three companies outputted and how these figures altered during a 15-year period from 2000 to 2015
It is clear that the amounts of waste of company A and B decreased during the period given. By contrast, for company C, a considerable rose could be seen in 2015, with the figures eventually surpassed those for company A. Overall, a much larger amount of waste was produced by company A in comparison with company B and C.
In 2000, around 12 tonnes of waste were made by company A, compared to about 8 tonnes of company B and 3 tonnes of company C. The amount of waste production of company A then dropped by roughly 1 tonne over the next five years in 2005. In contrast, the figures for both company B and C increased steadily, reaching nearly 6 tonnes and 10 tonnes.
In the period between 2005 and 2015, a sudden plummeted of waste amounts was company A and B, while company C still climbed steadily. By 2015, it is thought that around 3 tonnes of waste production were made by company B, whereas the figures for company A and B were much higher, at about 8 tonnes and 10 tonnes approximately
