The information revolution has changed the way of mass communications and had some negative or positive effects on individual lives as well as on society. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
It is an undeniable fact that mass communication existence got changed with emergence of information revolution. There are number of consequences raised for the individual as well as for society. Some of them are beneficial, but some has certainly raised an issues.
In my perception, mass communication is playing vital role in our life and society. As it gives us freedom to share ideas and thoughts. It help significantly to connect to our near's and dear's living across the globe. Scientists and students taking out the great benefit out of it as it helps them in their research and education. Furthermore, advent of information revolution has reduced our lot of efforts and time, we used to spend on our day-to-day activities, for instance paying different kind of bills.
On the contrary, mass communication is potentially playing negative role in ruining our society and deteriorating our health. People are under the influence of technology era and uprooting their family values and norms.For instance, kids in family are spending more time with their cell phones and computer systems and not being actively involve in their family which causes their parents feel isolated. Moreover, the more we are surrounded by technology, more it is impacting our physical and mental health which is causing the emergence of new diseases such as Brain and Skin cancer.
In conclusion, I assert that mass communication has made significant changes in our life to make it easy and simple. Also we should stop exploiting its usage otherwise it will not only trouble our life but will also make it difficult to live.
