The two pie charts provide an overview of factors which can lead different age groups of people to happiness.
It is noticeable that people of all ages contend that work achievements are the primary elements that make them happy. In addition, pursuing hobbies also plays a key role in a happy life.
Looking at the information in more details, the vast majority of interviewees consider work success as the main factor making them happy, with 31 per cent for people under 30 and 32 per cent for those above 30. However, almost one-fifth of the under-30-year-old population (18%) chooses attractive appearance leading them to happiness, while the same proportion with respect to over-30-year-old people chooses financial security instead.
Doing hobbies ranked second in two types of group surveyed, with the percentage of people over 30 is slightly higher than that of those below 30, accounting for 22 and 24 per cent, respectively. In fact, as people getting older 30-year-old, they prefer being with family (14 per cent) to travelling (15 per cent) which those younger choose.
