The causes of worldwide land degradation are over-grazing, deforestation, over-cultivation and other which percent are by 35% for over-grazing, deforestation by 30%, over-cultivation by 28% and followed by 7% other.
The degradation by regions are North America, by 0.2 deforestation, over-cultivation by 3.3% and over-grazing by 7.7% which mean in total land degradation for North America is by 5% the second is Europe– deforestation by 9.8%, over-cultivation by 7.7% and by 5.5% over-grazing which all in total for the European land degradation is by 23% .
In contrast, Oceania by 1.7 deforestation, 0% for over-cultivation and over-grazing by 11.3% .Oceania which is a large group of islands in the south pacific including: Australia and New Zеaland and all in total for the land degradation is be 13%.
In conclusion the biggest per cent for the worldwide land degradation by 35% is over-grazing and followed by degradation by region ,Europe by 23% which is in total land degraded
