I am writing this letter regarding to an appointment of immigration interview at your office on last Friday. For introduction, my full name is Duong Viet Linh and I am applying a student visa for studying Postgraduate course in America.
First of all, I would like to deeply apologize for missing the immigration interview due to an unexpected issue. When I was on the way to the immigration office, unfortunately my car was hit by another car from behind. Although it did not cause any injuries for myself, my car was severely damaged and was not able to continue the journey. Consequently, I could not attend the appointment as scheduled. I have enclosed the police record of the accident with this letter for your reference.
As my course will be started very soon in next month, I am wondering if I can book a new appointment as soon as possible. I am looking forward to hear from you soon and your assistances in this matter are much appreciated.
