In 1993, the rate of people who unemployed in London of young adults at the age of 16-24 was highest compared to other sections, over 20%. This was higher than the overall unemployment rates in the rest of England with 10%. Apart from a slightly decrease from 1993 to 2002, these figure kept growing and reached the peak at nearly 25% in 2012.
The percentage of people who unemployed in other 3 areas saw a similar trend when showing a downward trend from 1993 to 2004 then in the next period between 2004 and 2012, while the unemployment rate of people who aged 16-24 in the rest of London sharply rose until finished at over 20%, there were steadily rose in those of London city and the rest of England which reached to nearly 10% and over 7% respectively.
