You work for an international company, and would like to spend six months working in its head office in another country. Write a letter to your manager. In your letter:
• Explain why you want to work in the company’s head office for six months
• Say how your work could be done while you are away
• Ask for his/her help in arranging it
Dear Sir,
I am writing this epistle in reference to a request for an interim transfer for 6 months to company corporate office based in Singapore. Let me explain the situation.
To elucidate as you are aware I am pursuing a master degree in International business from South Asia university hence as part of the curriculum it involves travel to Singapore for completion of some research project work at their University campus. Despite being busy with my research work I would also like to explore the possibility of working from company headquarters based in Singapore so that it does not impact the ongoing projects thus I would suggest while I work for the research project for the university on weekdays ,I could do the official work for the company on weekends additionally it will also be an alluring experience for me to explore the work culture at our head office.
I hope the above proposition would be acceptable additionally I would also request your approval for the same so that I can put a request forward to the human resource department for this movement.
Yours Sincerely
Ben
