The bar diagram depicts the percentage of regular physical activity of Australian nationalities during 2010. Overall, females give more importance to the physical activity than men.
It is clear from the graph that, there were around 52.8% of young men in the 15-24 age group regularly doing physical activities, which is 5% higher than that of women. Even though these preference declining gradually among the age groups from 25 to 44, before increasing to 43.1% in 45 to 54 age group. Interestingly, older men were more conscious about health and steadily increased their regular physical exercise along with age.
In contrast, least number of young females involved in the regular activities, whereas the percentage significantly increased with age to 53.3% before declining into 53 % among 55 to 64 age group. However, after 65, both men and women performed almost equal percentage of regular physical activity.
In conclusion, the physical activity of women surpassed with age than the men. Although almost half proportion of 35 to 64 years women do physical activity regularly, the lowest rate is reported from 35 to 44 age group of men.
