The maps demonstrate various changes having happened in the village of Stokeford by 2010.
Overall, the rural area has experienced dramatic changes in terms of elimination of the farmland and expansion of the houses.
Looking at the maps, it is crystal clear that the location of the post office, the primary school, and the bridge remained intact from 1930 to 2010. While the farmlands located at the South-West and East-North of the countryside in 1930 have demolished in 2010.
Regarding the accommodation, far more dwellings have been built in 2010 compared with 1930. In addition to this, the two large houses which were adjacent to the garden in 1930, have replaced with two retirement houses to provide cares for the elderly population. Finally, the gardens, located in the middle of the Stokeford in 1930, have halved in size in 2010 in order to provide more space for building new houses.
