The pie charts illustrate the proportion of different water applications in six countries.
In general, the main purpose of agricultural use is all asia and south america area. Overall, north america and europe aims on industrial use area.
In africa, central asia, south east asia and south america, there are 84%, 88%, 81% and 71% respectively for agricultural purpose, which is much better than the other aims such as industrial and domestic. On domestic use, south america is the biggest proportion compared with the other countries, with 19%, for the smallest proportion, central asia and south east asia are just 7% independently on this area.
For north america and europe, we can see that the proportion of industrial use is the biggest significantly, at 48% and 53%, higher than 39% and 32% of agricultural use. However, in south america, africa and central asia, industrial use is the lowest proportion around 10%, 7% and 5%.
