it can be clearly seen that uk is the leader at the sales of coffee at 2004, whereas switzerland is leading the bananas market. Overall, the coffee sales of these five countries rise significantly.
In 1999, switzerland was the leader whether it was coffee or bananas, earned 3 and 15 millions of euros respectively, raised to 290 and 47 millions of euros until 2004. For uk, it became the coffee leadership at 2004 from 1.5 to 20 millions of euros, while the sales of bananas was 5.5 millions of euros.
For Denmark, the trend of coffee was increased by 0.2 millions to 2 millions at 2004, while the bananas sales was dropped rapidly from 2 to 0.9 millions of euros. The varieties sales of belgium were also increased, from 1 and 0.6 to 1.7 and 4 millions of euros independently. Lastly, Sweden’s coffee sales was raised by 0.7 from 1 millions of euros as well as fell from 1.8 to 1 millions of euros at bananas market.
