The graph illustrates the data of common sports played by two gender groups of New Zealand in 2000.
Overall, it is clear that athletics, netball and swimming are kind of sports chosen by girls mostly while cricket, marital arts, basketball, tennis, soccer and other were physical activities enjoyed by boys more.
First of all, The boys seem to be dislike netball as this percentage for them had only 2% while it was 25% for the girls. In contrast, the proportion of girls played cricket accounted for 2% and about 12% for boys.

Secondly, the marital arts and soccer also had the different share in both genders. The proportion showed that which had only 2% and 5% for the females opted marital arts and football. However, that figures for the males were nearly 10% and 25% respectively.

Thirdly, for athletics and swimming, the share of the girls were at 4% and 22% respectively. Meanwhile, that numbers were 4% and 13% for boys. Besides, the percentage of basketball and tennis of these groups did not have the difference a lot. it was 6% for the girls and 8% for the boys for basketball. Likewise, the figures for tennis were 7% for females and 9% for males.
Finally, the girls played other sports was 10% and it was also 17% for the boys.
