The bar chart below gives information about the number of students studying Computer Science at a UK university between 2010 and 2012.
The bar chart illustrates the proportion of students in different gender who study Computer Science at a UK university over a three-year period.
At first glance, it was noticeable that the number of both sexes of the student who studying this subject had risen, expect Britain men. Males from the UK were more fond of this subject than international students. However, it had also shown a fluctuation during this aforesaid period, from around 40 in 2010 to 24 in 2011 and had risen to 43 in 2012. On the other hand, males from different countries who chosen Computer Science had increased. As can be seen, within 25 of them were interested in 2010 and 2011, but it had climb dramatically to over 35 of them during 2012.
As the graph indicates, Computer Science was a favourable subject for British home female students. Not to mention, the proportion of women who chosen this subject had increased, which was from approximately 32 in 2010 to 45 in 2012. Furthermore, international female students had an insignificant risen by only 6 of them.
To sum up, it was evident that students year by year had gained an interest in Computer Science.
