Given is a diagram illustrating a process about how geothermal energy alters into electric power.
Overall, the process has five main stages until cold water, by-product, turn into electric power.
Firstly, cold water that is collected in a tank pump approximately 4,5 kilometres down, through the injection well, then water reaches geothermal zone which is an area, surrounded by heated rocks. The fluid, then, goes through the geothermal area and shifts from the injection well to the production well. This is the third stage of the process.
In the third phase, water, which was heated by the warm of the rocks, pumps up to the condenser where the liquid form changes into a gas. In the last phase, steam, the product of the condenser, rotate a turbine, therefore rotating movement powers a generator and electricity is produced from the process and distributed into a transmission line, which carry electricity only distance.
