The diagrams below show the changes that have taken place at West park Secondary School since its construction in 1950.
The maps elucidate the alterations which occurred at west park secondary school from 1950 to 2010. At first glance, it is evident that the most noticeable changes occurred for the existence of car park in comparison with the other alterations.
To begin with the west of the west park, the presence of car park has replaced the position of two houses and farmland in 1950 and the place of small car park and sports field in 1980. Furthermore, there was new science block which had been constructed in the west of school, in which it changed the place of house in 1950.
In accordance with the other changes, 1950 to 2010 witnessed the minimization of playground size where there was new sports field which had been relocated in the position of playground. In contrast, the main road and school remained unchanged over the entire period, however, the function of educational institution itself has been expanded as main building in 1980 and in 2010.
