The table gives information about projected sales during lunch and dinner every day from October 7 to 13 at a small food chain in a downtown business district.
Overall, more people dine in at the particular restaurant during the night than those eating at lunchtime. however, the sales experienced fluctuations over the seven days.
In details, beginning October 7, the profit of the small food chain increases during evening with $3623 on Monday which rises slightly the day after by more than $200. Wednesday night, fewer costumers spend money for dinner at the restaurant which decreases to $3445 dollars. However, it is Friday evening that the sales reach the peak of $4350, unfortunately, the weekends have the lowest especially Sunday with only $2450 sales.
In contrary, people who eat lunch at this restaurant in downtown district continue to increase from Monday to Wednesday ($2400 - $ 25950). It has a slight decline in the sales in Thursday afternoon, but it rises again the second day at $ 2375 and $ 2500 respectively. In similarity with the profit of dinner during weekends, those eating at lunchtime also plummeted.
