The chart below shows the annual pay (thousands of US dollars) for doctors and other workers in seven countries in 2004.
The bar chart demonstrates the figure of money that seven distinguished countries annually expensed for doctor and other worker’s salary in 2004. Overall, it is clear that the yearly pay for the medical worker was always remarkable higher than other worker’s payments from two to three times.
The most significant figure that exactly illustrated the overall picture was the payroll for doctors and other workers were in the US. The amount of salary per year for both hospital’s workers and the others were the greatest number among seven different developed countries with 120 and 45 thousands of US dollars respectively. Additionally, the figure for the payment of doctors was dramatically surpassed that of other workers with almost three times.
France and Switzerland’s economics underwent the approximate figure for other worker’s salaries with the US which varied from 30 to 40 thousand US dollars. However, the yearly earnings for doctors in these two mentioned countries were comparatively lower than that in the US which leads to the most balanced proportion between doctor and other worker’s income. The wage for other workers in Switzerland was about two-third compared to the total expenditure of this country.
Witnessing a similar situation with the figure for the US, these three countries included Germany, Czech Republic, and Italia just underwent a smaller scale which is approximately 60 thousand US dollars for the doctor’s salary and 20 thousand US dollars for that figure of other workers. Lastly, Finland has the lowest number of money spending on pay for doctors and other workers.
