Overall, according to the chart, five cities witnessed two contradictory trends during this period. While between 1990 and 1995, most of cities saw a downward tendency in average house value, the statistics of all cities experienced an upward trend from 1996 to 2002.
To begin with, obviously, during the period of 6 years from 1990-1995, three out of five cities' figures dropped, new york ( USA ) decreased by 5%, Tokyo ( Japan )and london ( UK ) share the same plough off approximately 7% compared with 1989's house price slightly increased with property percentage 1% and 1.5% respectively.
