You are going to another country to study. You would like to do a part-time job while you are studying, so you want to ask a friend who lives there for some help.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter,
- give details of your study plans
- explain why you want to get a part-time job
- suggest how your friend could help you find a job
Dear Mukesh,
I hope this letter finds you in tink of your health.I'm posting you this letter to share good news about my selection for post graduate program at your home ground in USA.
The program offered by university is a two year academic degree.I'm planning to land there two months earlier so that I can get familiar to climate.my course work is in the morning hours that leaves me free in the evening hence wish to apply for part-time job. Apparently I have contacted the campus committee to opt for on-campus positions and also plotting to apply off-campus positions as well.
As per the information brochure provided by admission office, the hostel and food expenses is quite high and not covered in the tuition waiver scheme.Additionally most of the on-campus jobs also demand prior job experience for part-time positions as well.Hence I wish to gain the experience by joining the workplace preferably office.
As your place is close to university campus, it's the best idea to find out job leads near your area. I want you to circulate my resume to the places you know and post an advertisement on local bill board. It will work out nicely with your support. hope to catch up with you soon.
With love,
Amit
