the graph shows the average hours of unpaid work per week done by people in different categories
The data makes a comparison between the quantity of hours which married woman and married men are unpaid in three various groups : without any kid, with 1 to 2 kids and with more than 3 kids.
At first glance, it is clear that women who got married do unpaid work are higher than that of married men. While wives have more than 3 children do this job the most, husbands hit the lowest point.
As can be seen from the graph, women without children account for the smallest hour, at less than a third, compared to the highest hour in men, standing at nearly 20 hours. However, the number of woman having 1 to 2 children make up a significant soar to a half whereas that of men witnessed a slight fall by a mere 1 hour.
Surprisingly, There is a surge in the figure of married women having more than three children, with just under 60 hours for unpaid work whereas the unpaid working hours for married men constitute much less portion, namely just below 20 hours per week, compared with the unpaid working hour for males having only less than a fifth.
