The pie chart illustrates the average expenditures of living in Malaysia and Japan in 2010. There are some differences in the major categories of household expenses in these two countries.
On the one hand, the information on Japan pie chart shows that this country has various categories involving in living costs. The most expenditure belongs to goods and services with a proportion of 29%; also, the food category with a portion of 24% is the second group of living costs. However, the lowest amount of household expenses belongs to healthcare group with the proportion of only 6%.
On the other hand, the pie chart of Malaysia indicates that most of the living costs in this country are because of hosing. In fact, the proportion of 34% of expenditures belongs to housing while 27% is for food and 26% is for goods and other services. It should be noted that healthcare costs have the lowest amount of expenses among all other categories.
In general, the information of average household costs of Malaysia and Japan determine that although housing includes the most part of expenditures, services and goods play a significant role in household expenses od Japan. Furthermore, healthcare has the lowest amount of cost in both countries.
