The pie chart gives information about social media platforms which were loved by people used the Internet over the world over 3-year period, staring from 2010.
Overall, it can be seen that the figure for Facebook is the highest in this period. Besides, all social media channel were more preferred from 2011 to 2013, except Facebook.
The proportion of Inter users who loved Facebook in 2011 stood at 59%, which is triple than that for Twitter. But this number witnessed a significant decrease of 21% to 38% in 2013. 21% of people used the Internet considered Twitter as favorite media channel, which twice as high as that for Linkedln, with 10% in 2011. Later then, there was a slight increase in Twitter’s figure to 25% in 2013. The period between 2011 and 2013 experienced a moderate growth in the figure for Linkedln from 10% to 15%.
Google+ and Pinterest had the similar figure for users, at 5% each in 2011. Over the next 2 years saw a significant rise in Google+ to 14% in 2013. In contrast, this figure for Pinterest only slightly grew by 3%.
