The chart below shows the process of waste paper recycling.
The flow chart illustrates how waste paper is recycled.
It is clear that there are six main stages in the process of waste paper recycling, beginning with the collection of waste paper and ending with the production of usable paper.
At the first stage, waste paper is collected from two main sources: from the public source or from businesses. Then, the paper is sorted manually by grading and the unsuitable is ruled out. After sorting, the resulting paper is delivered to the paper factory where the other three stages take place.
At the fourth stage, the paper is cleaned, pulped and other materials such as staples are removed. At the next stage, the paper is deinked, which means the removal of inks and glues. Finally, the resulting paper is put into a machine called paper making machine, where the usable paper is produced.
