You want to sell your television. You think a friend of yours might like to buy it from you. Write a letter to your friend.
In your letter:
Explain why you are selling the television.
Describe the television.
Suggest a date when your friend can come and see it.
Dear Sasha,
I’m writing to let you know that I’m interested in selling my television.
Last month, I’ve applied for the integration program in digital processing under the international scholarship program. I’m thrilled to share that my profile got accepted and I’ve to leave in a couple of weeks because the commencement of the new session is on 31st of this month. University prospectus says that I’m not allowed to keep a TV in my dormitory so I thought it is better to sell it.
I remember when I first bought this Sony Vaio television, you were pretty impressed with the configuration. Infinity 38” inch led display, two USB 2.0 ports, and stereophonic surround sound. I must tell you this version still is one of the best sellers.
I was wondering if you’re still interested in buying this television. I’d make you a fairly reasonable offer. This weekend I’m at home, packing all my belongings. Why don’t you come and give it a glance once again? Let me know if you can’t make it.
I’ll wait for your reply.
Best regards,
Ansh.
