Overall, the largest percentage of Americans eats at these type of restaurants once a week or once or twice a month and only a small number of them eat every day at fast food.
During the first considered year, the 32% of people eat at fast food only once a week. This date is similar to the 2006 one, which is about 33%. Although during the 2013 there is a decrease in this trend with only 28% of Americans eating fast food, the date remains very high. People who eat junk food every day are very low in all three years, with a mean percentage of about 3.5%.
In 2013 there is a reduction in the frequency of eating at fast food, as a matter of fact the highest percentage consumes fast food only once or twice a month. The numbers of Americans who have never eaten fast food is terribly low, with only a mean rate of 4%, a date similar to every day one.
