Overall, it can be seen that most people prefer cycling to work because of its health benefits and positive environmental contribution. On the contrary, the others advocate traveling to work by car can brings them ultimate comfort.
On the one hand, 30 percent of cyclists claim that cycling to work can improve their health and firm their bodies up. This percentage is equal to the percentage of people who want to lessen the pollution. It is followed by individuals having the fear of financial and parking drawbacks - 15 and 13 percent respectively. Besides, it is obvious that only 12 percent of people think that a bike is faster than a car.
On the other hand, nearly a half of drivers keen on driving car because of its comfort - 40 percent. It can be denied that distance to work is also another affective factor, which makes up 21 percent. Also, both fast speed and freight ability account for 14 percent. Finally, the last position belongs to the safety of driving, 11 percent.
